ABC News reported that the son of Ryan Routh, who attempted to assassinate Trump, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.
“Investigators say they discovered “hundreds” of files with child pornography during a search of Oran Routh’s residence in Guilford County, North Carolina, on Saturday conducted “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation.””

During an “unrelated” investigation, law enforcement discovered hundreds of files on two separate cell phones locked inside Oran Routh’s home in Guilford County, North Carolina. Oran Routh is scheduled to appear in federal court later today without a listed attorney.
Ryan Wesley Routh, the father of Oran Routh, has been taken into custody for allegedly attempting to assassinate former President Donald Trump. This week, the Department of Justice revealed a handwritten note found in Routh’s possession that offered a $150,000 reward to anyone who could successfully carry out the assassination of the former president.
