my coffee via grok
While working on the website and shows over my morning coffee, I stumbled upon an intriguing Daily Mail article shared by @HeidiBriones on X– someone worth following. The article discussed Kamala Harris’s past work for former San Francisco mayor Willie Brown. As Heidi noted, the phrasing in the article was both hysterical and blatantly obvious.
After spilling coffee on my desk, I hurried to the Daily Mail website to verify the shocking headline I had just read. Despite my trust in Heidi, the implications of the news were so unexpected that I felt compelled to check the story for myself. Navigating to the Daily Mail’s homepage, I found the initial article title that had captured my attention.

The title even hinted at Willie Brown’s past with Vice President. The info in the file really shows how Brown was given the Vice President role for jobs he never showed up for in the California government, and it’s definitely worth checking out.
So, being the curious creature that I am I clicked this article and low and behold, there it was in all of its glory right on the Daily Mail itself:

The extent of the unhinged is truly remarkable. It is not uncommon for us to encounter headlines that contain double entendres, which are often subtle and may occasionally evade the attention of many readers. However, the Daily Mail stands out in this regard, as it has chosen to employ the subtlety of a “dump truck going through a nitroglycerin factory” in its headlines. As
expected, Heidi’s followers have not been shy in expressing their disapproval of this approach

Thank you to Heidi for posting this and making the morning hysterical, make sure you check out her website and follow her on X, she is surely worth it.
