Tom Homan delivered a direct warning during an interview on The Ingraham Angle. The former Acting ICE Director said illegal immigration is not random, accidental, or humanitarian. It is a fully controlled criminal enterprise run by the Mexican cartels, and Democrats who defend or promote illegal immigration policies are helping those cartels every time the border is crossed.

Homan explained that nobody crosses illegally without paying the cartel plaza fee. Cartels control the routes. They control the smugglers. They profit from every migrant who enters the United States outside the legal process. That money fuels the same organizations responsible for fentanyl production, sex trafficking, kidnapping, extortion, and violence across Mexico and inside the United States.

Homan said these facts are not secret. He argued that Democrats know this is how the system works, yet continue to support policies that increase illegal crossings. In his view, the result is simple. More migrants mean more cartel revenue. More cartel revenue means more trafficking victims, more fentanyl deaths, and more security threats inside American communities.

He also pointed to the national security risk. Homan said individuals from hostile or terror sponsor nations are entering the country through the same cartel channels. Many cannot be vetted properly. He said that ignoring these risks is not compassion. It is negligence.

Homan’s message is clear. Illegal immigration does not happen without cartel involvement. Anyone pushing policies that increase illegal immigration is strengthening the cartels and the criminal networks tied to them. He believes Democratic leaders have chosen politics over security and responsibility, and the consequences are now visible in every border state and beyond.
