The Daily Mail published a follow-up article on the report that the Second Gentleman had slapped his then-girlfriend. The report cited an anonymous woman, described as a “successful New York attorney” and identified only as “Jane,” who is now coming forward after seeing Emhoff deny the report and “claim to be a feminist.”

The original article quoted “Jane” saying, “What’s frightening for a woman that’s been on the other end of it, is watching this completely fabricated persona being portrayed.” The article was published on the Daily Mail website on October 2nd. The following day, October 3rd, Ehmoff issued a statement denying the report, saying “this report is untrue” and “any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false.”
The “Legacy Media” has largely ignored the allegation, which is noteworthy. In fact, the only time Ehmoff was asked about the allegation was during his appearance on “The Morning Joe,” where he never denied it and instead called it a “distraction.”
