The Guardian published a story today in which Stacy Williams alleges that Trump groped her at a Jeffrey Epstein party 31 years ago. This allegation surfaced on the same day that Kamala Harris held a press conference. During the press conference, Harris stated that former Trump Chief of Staff John Kelly claimed, five years after leaving the administration, that Trump had wanted generals “like those of Adolf Hitler.” However, Kelly did not mention this alleged encounter in his subsequent book either.

According to the Guardian story, the alleged groping took place late winter or early spring of 1993. Karoline Leavitt, the press secretary for Donald Trump’s campaign, issued a statement refuting the allegations. She claimed the “accusations, made by a former Barack Obama activist and announced on a Harris campaign call just two weeks before the election, are completely false. It’s clear this fabricated story was concocted by the Harris campaign.”

Social media, particularly on platform X, had been abuzz with rumors of an impending allegation against the former president. In an interview earlier today, journalist Mark Halperin revealed that he had been approached with a story about Trump, but decided not to report on it. Additionally, according to the Open Source Zone account, several other media outlets were also approached with the same story, but they too declined to publish it.
