Unattended police barricades sit outside a Minneapolis church as unrest spills into places of worship, highlighting the absence of enforcement.
Chaos In Minneapolis
Mob rule has taken over.
Disagreement no longer defines the situation.
Policy debates are no longer the driver.
Speech is no longer the issue.
What’s unfolding in Minnesota is something else entirely. Mob rule now wears the costume of activism. Over the weekend, a leftist crowd attacked a anti-Islam activist Jake Lang during a demonstration tied to immigration enforcement. Video footage shows the crowd dragging the man from a ledge as it closed in. He suffered a serious head wound. He was wearing a tactical vest that, according to the victim, prevented serious injury from an attempted stabbing. Reports later noted a serious gash on his head from blunt force trauma. Whether he was stabbed, beaten, or both is irrelevant. The crowd violently assaulted the man as others encouraged it.
Targeted violence replaced protest.
When Activism Turns Physical
Activists insisted the event would remain peaceful.
Public officials promised restraint.
Activists claimed moral clarity.
Reality ignored all three.
Arguments gave way to punches and kicks. Reasoned debate collapsed into chaos. Fear replaced order in the streets. Minneapolis has walked this road before. Leaders no longer merely tolerate disorder. They actively encourage it. Authorities fan the flames. Escalation follows. Eventually, someone pays the price.
The violence did not stay outside.
Churches Are Now Fair Game
Sunday morning brought a new target. Activists stormed a worship service at Cities Church.
Slogans echoed through the sanctuary.
Protesters interrupted prayer.
They hurled accusations at a pastor over alleged ICE connections.
Children sat in the pews. Families were present. The service was underway.
Calling this protest strains credulity. Intimidation fits better.
Religious liberty does not come with an activist veto. Had a mob burst into a mosque, headlines would still be running. The American Pravda would be demanding prosecutions. However, since the disruption hit Christians, coverage was muted.
That contrast is impossible to miss.
The Lie of Moral Justification
Every radical movement reaches this point.
The cause becomes sacred. Behavior becomes secondary. Once that switch flips, limits evaporate. Violence is then acceptable. Mob rule becomes the strategy. Fear becomes leverage.
Beating a man in the street becomes defensible. Storming a church becomes righteous. Nothing that threatens their objective is off-limits.
Moral certainty without restraint always ends the same way.
Lawlessness Is a Policy Choice
This chaos did not appear overnight.
Years of progressive leadership paved the way. Crimes get downgraded. Law enforcement is characterized as illegitimate. Federal authority is treated as optional. The message is transmitted and received.
Mobs feel shielded.
Victims feel abandoned.
Institutions retreat.
What these people fail to comprehend, or perhaps refuse to acknowledge, is that order is not oppression.
Law is not cruelty.
Boundaries are not hate.
They are the difference between civilization and societal collapse.
The Line Must Be Drawn
Protection of churches is not negotiable.
Protection of citizens is not optional.
Equal enforcement of the law is not extreme.
Selective outrage is how disorder spreads. Political support helps the mobs gain confidence. Minneapolis now stands as a warning of what happens when leaders abdicate responsibility.
Vacated authority never stays empty for long.
