The U.S. Navy confirmed that a lethal kinetic strike was carried out on Dec. 4, 2025 against a vessel operating in international waters in the eastern Pacific. The vessel was identified through intelligence as being affiliated with a narco terror organization and was believed to be transporting a large shipment of illicit narcotics along a known trafficking route.

According to official military reporting, four individuals aboard the vessel were killed during the strike. No U.S. forces were injured.
