How Venezuelan traffickers, Mexican cartels and an ocean of narcotics are killing Americans while Washington FUNDRAISES
While some in Washington spend their days firing off fundraising emails and staging outrage for cameras, a real crisis is tearing through the country. While some memebers of congress are using this to gain political points with their own party, the threat of the Narco Terrorists are, in fact, real. Every cheap stunt and every made for television hearing lets the cartels keep operating while Americans pay with their lives.
Cartels are flooding the United States with narcotics at levels we have never seen. Fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine and heroin are pouring across the same pipelines year after year. The organizations moving it are well known, and have been for a long time. Their routes are documented and confirmed. Their alliances are public record. The bodies they leave behind are counted by the CDC and stacked inside morgues from Maine to California.
Politicians pretend this is complicated. It is not.
THE PRODUCT: WHAT IS ACTUALLY KILLING AMERICANS
The CDC reports 105,000 overdose deaths in 2023. Provisional data for 2024 shows about 80,000 deaths, which is still a mass casualty event by any definition. Almost 70 percent of those deaths involved opioids, most of it fentanyl produced in Mexico with Chinese precursor chemicals.
Fentanyl is the deadliest narcotic ever introduced into the U.S. market. It is cheap, it is easy to synthesize and it kills in micrograms. DEA seized enough fentanyl in 2024 to kill the entire U.S. population many times over. That is not an exaggeration. It is in the official DEA reporting and until recently, not much was being done about it.
Cocaine overdose deaths are climbing again. Methamphetamine is more pure than ever and is responsible for violent psychosis spikes in major cities. Heroin is still in the mix but fentanyl has taken over because it is cheaper to make and easier to smuggle.
This is an industrial supply chain. These are not street corner criminals. These groups operate like multinational corporations with chemists, logistics teams, offshore finance networks and full control of distribution.
VENEZUELA: THE LOADING DOCK FOR A CONTINENT WIDE DRUG TRADE
Venezuela is not just a country full of corruption. It is a transit engine for the cocaine economy.
The U.S. Treasury designated the Venezuelan Cartel de los Soles as a terrorist organization and stated clearly that it provides material support to the Sinaloa Cartel and to Tren de Aragua, another violent Venezuelan network. The State Department followed by naming Cartel de los Soles a Foreign Terrorist Organization.
Independent reporting estimates that roughly 400 tons of cocaine move through Venezuela every year, 400 tons. That is 10 Semi Trucks of JUST COCAINE. Cocaine is grown in Colombia, pushed into Venezuela through border regions controlled by corrupt officials and FARC dissident factions, packaged and moved outward through ports, clandestine airstrips and maritime lanes.
Venezuela is not the final producer of the drugs killing Americans, but it is a major structural link that makes the entire system profitable, fast and nearly impossible to disrupt and Maduros government allows it to happen.
THE ALLIANCE WITH MEXICAN CARTELS: THE PIPELINE NORTH
DEA states directly that Mexican cartels dominate the wholesale supply of fentanyl, heroin, methamphetamine and cocaine into the United States. The two powerhouses are:
- Sinaloa Cartel
- CJNG
Every major narcotic category in America is controlled by these two organizations. They have the production capacity, the chemistry, the laboratories, the shipping networks and the control of corridors into the United States.
Venezuela’s narco apparatus helps enable these routes. Mexican cartels move the product. American victims become the output.
There is no part of that chain that is unclear. Every agency involved in narcotics enforcement has said the same thing for years, and Americans died while nothing was done. Nothing of substance.
THE HUMAN COST: NOT A DEBATE, A BODY COUNT
Here is the part that gets lost because it is not politically useful for either party.
- 105,000 overdose deaths in 2023
- About 80,000 deaths in 2024
- 72,000 fentanyl deaths in 2023 alone
- Cocaine deaths rising
- Meth deaths rising
- Synthetic opioids are the primary driver
There is no national emergency with a higher American death toll. It’s Not terrorism. It is Not crime or mass shootings. It surely isn’t foreign wars.
If another country’s government was enabling the flow of terrorists that killed 100,000 Americans every year, we would call it an act of war. When the product is fentanyl, meth or cocaine, Democrats run the microphone to complain that something is ACTUALLY being done, again, to fundraise on the dead bodies of Americans.
The drugs flooding American streets do not care about political parties. They kill teenagers, veterans, long time addicts trying to recover and casual users who made a single bad decision. They kill fast, quietly and in every ZIP code accross the US.
This should not be a partisian argument, but it is. This is a supply chain built by foreign cartels, supported by corrupt regimes and paid for in American lives. There is no “grey” area here. If you are arguing that that AUMF and the EO 13224 is “questionable” because it is Trump using it against Narco Terorrists, but didn’t bat an eye when Obama used a Drone to kill an American citizen, you need to sit down.
Until this country treats the narcotic pipeline the same way it would treat a hostile foreign operation killing Americans by the tens of thousands, nothing will change. The cartels will grow richer, the routes will widen and the overdose numbers will remain the scoreboard of a war we refuse to acknowledge.
Washington can debate the politics forever. The morgues never lie.
