
On October 12th at 4:59 PM, a man was arrested without incident while attempting to enter the Coachella music festival grounds with loaded firearms, according to a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The arrest occurred after deputies encountered the suspect’s black SUV at the intersection of Avenue 52 and Celebration Drive. Multiple media reports also indicate the man was in possession of a counterfeit press pass.
Police interviewed and identified 49-year-old Vem Miller of Las Vegas, Nevada during the incident. The investigation revealed that Miller possessed a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and high-capacity magazines. The arrest was made without incident. According to Times Now, Miller made a statement suggesting he was there to attempt an assassination of the former President. The suspect was held on $5000.00 bail and is already reported to be released.
