1000 is the first plateau. More climbing ahead.
Who would have thought when two guys who called themselves “Sack Heads” recorded a ten minute clip using a headset while sitting on a couch that SHR Media would be where it is today? There have been many ups and downs. There have been numerous setbacks. But the spirit of SHR never died. That spirit to bring independent, honest, strong, and clear voices to the media world remains our driving force. Our slogan “Conservative Media, Done Right” always served as our goal.

Have we been perfect? No. Have we ever betrayed our values? Also, no.
We remain a small, focused, and determined group like we always have been. We watched friends come and go over the years but the nucleus of SHR Media remained strong. While 1000 YouTube subscribers marks a major milestone for the network we achieved others along the way.

From Living Room Origins to Digital Impact
We started back when podcasts lived in their infancy stage. Back then you did not just press “go live” and reach people. The grind was real. We learned how to get shows on iTunes and other platforms before easy online submissions existed. We mastered the transition from audio to video and learned how to stream effectively.

SHR fought through every trial a small startup faces including limited funding, aging equipment, and shifting social media algorithms. We even battled for internet speeds fast enough to stream live. Most of us lacked technical skills except for one guy who solved every riddle that AI and Google could not answer. Thanks Soko.

From there we took our message to live events at Freedom Fest in Las Vegas and RNC conventions in Texas and California. We funded every trip out of pocket. We recognized the battle against major tech conglomerates that suppressed conservative media and social media. Fighting through the hard times because we refused to take the “big money” route. We scratched and clawed for every show, every friendship, and every contact.

Building a Professional Broadcast Network
We eventually moved from a living room to an office and then into three progressively larger studios. All of us searched for free or cheap desks and soundboards. We hunted for microphones that did not sound like a metal box. All of us put literal blood, sweat, and tears into this growth. We moved slowly but we never stopped.

Real life took over several times. People stepped away or took breaks to live their lives. But in the last year and a half SHR Media grew in ways we never thought possible. We transformed from a poor quality recording about Samuel Whittemore into a high-octane multi-platform broadcast and editorial network.
