Bondi Announces Findings in Arctic Frost Investigation
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Tuesday that investigators working under the special counsel in the ongoing Arctic Frost investigation seized a government-issued phone belonging to President Trump and subpoenaed his personal phone records.
Bondi described the actions as unprecedented, alleging that the Biden Administration facilitated the transfer of the device to the special counsel as part of the broader federal probe.
“An Unprecedented Action,” Bondi Says

“During the Arctic Frost Investigation, we found that Special Counsel seized President Trump’s government-issued phone,” Bondi said in her public statement.
“This means the Biden Administration turned over President Trump’s phone to Special Counsel—an unprecedented action. In addition, Special Counsel subpoenaed all of President Trump’s personal phone records. We can never again allow this kind of government weaponization in America.”
Bondi added that she has turned over the newly obtained documents to congressional partners and credited FBI personnel for helping uncover the details.
Senate Records Indicate Phones Were Previously Obtained
Earlier this year, Senate Republicans Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson released documents showing that the FBI had obtained both Trump’s and former Vice President Pence’s government-issued phones as part of the Arctic Frost probe.
The investigation reportedly included toll analysis of phone records tied to election-related inquiries and led to a large number of subpoenas targeting individuals and entities linked to the case.
No Confirmation Yet from Justice Department
As of publication, there has been no public confirmation from the Department of Justice or the Special Counsel’s Office regarding the seizure of Trump’s phone or the scope of the subpoenas described by Bondi.
The Justice Department has not released any statement addressing her remarks.
