Border Czar Tom Homan announced today that the ICE surge operation in Minneapolis has officially ended. Homan stated the decision came after he secured agreements with numerous county jails last week to contract with ICE and hold illegal aliens on detainers. This new cooperation allows agents to pick up detainees directly from facilities rather than conducting operations in the community.

Homan noted that he cleared the decision to end the surge with President Trump who gave his approval.

The shift in strategy marks a significant turning point for the operation in Minnesota. Homan emphasized that the surge successfully forced local cooperation that had been previously withheld.

Missing children

During the announcement Homan also revealed a major development regarding missing minors.

“ICE here in this state have located 3,364 missing unaccompanied alien children” Homan said.

He noted these were children “that the Biden regime wasn’t even LOOKING for.”

The recovery of these children and the new jail contracts were cited as key factors in the decision to conclude the surge operation.
