Conservative political commentator Tim Pool reported that his property came under gunfire late Thursday night after a vehicle approached and opened fire. Pool stated that no one was injured in the incident.
In an initial post on X, Pool said a vehicle drove toward his property and fired shots before fleeing. He added that his security team is reviewing the incident and that a report will be relayed to appropriate law enforcement.
Security Measures May Have Prevented Further Harm
In a follow up post, Pool said his immediate belief is that whoever fired the shots was attempting to intimidate those on the property. He noted that his residence is protected by a security gate and armed guards and stated that it is possible those defenses deterred something more serious from occurring.
According to Pool, his private security team began reviewing surveillance footage and other available evidence after the shooting. He said authorities would be notified as part of that review.
No Injuries and No Suspects Announced
Pool confirmed that no one was hurt during the incident. As of publication, no suspect description has been released and no arrests have been announced. There has been no public confirmation from local law enforcement regarding the status of any investigation.
No official motive has been established. Pool described the incident as an attempted act of intimidation but did not present evidence publicly linking the shooting to a specific person or group.
This remains a developing story.
