We are heartbroken to share the news of the passing of our dear friend and fellow SHR Media broadcaster, Jeff Dunetz, host of The Lid Radio Show. Jeff was not only a powerful voice in conservative media, he was a deeply informed. Jeff was principled, and fearless truth-teller whose passion for America, Israel, and freedom never wavered.

Jeff’s Roots

Many first came to know Jeff through his early work as a contributor to Breitbart News, where his clarity of thought and unwillingness to follow media narratives made him stand out. His blog, The Lid, became a must-read for those seeking honest reporting, sharp analysis, and a bit of humor with their headlines.

His Expertise Was Unmatched

But Jeff wasn’t just a pundit. He was a walking encyclopedia on the Middle East—especially Israel—and an unrelenting advocate for truth in the region. His insights into Israeli politics, U.S.–Israel relations, and the broader geopolitical battles shaping the world were unmatched. Jeff had a rare ability to cut through propaganda and explain complex issues in ways everyday Americans could understand.
