The Garbage Man Cometh - OP/ED and Its Shocking Claims

It should almost be shocking that the sitting president called Trump supporters “garbage.”. Just like it should be shocking that Democrats and main stream media have called Trump supporters “Extremists,” “Nazis,” and “Deplorables.” It should be shocking that you have the Department of Homeland Security and the Military training its members to believe that the biggest threat to America, after global warming, of course, is white conservative males. Hell, it should be shocking that a Trump rally in New York City was likened to a Nazi rally in 1939, even if in the most recent rally there were Jews, people of color, Muslims, Christians, and countless other “classes” that would not be very “Nazi” like.

It should all be shocking that this has come to this in our politics, but it is not. Divisive, accusatory, and vile politics has been the way in this country for years. Actually, it has pretty much been that way since Barack Obama said “he could have been my son” regarding Trayvon Martin. That was a dog whistle, and main stream media and Democrats haven’t stopped barking and screeching since. There have been plenty of other situations where Democrats and media chose to rachet up the situation instead of tone it down.

There is a reason for that. The Democrats use and exploit outrage produced by the media for votes and money. The media uses outrage to make money and to support Democrats, who, once again, use the media to exploit situations and make money and votes. Do you see the pattern forming here?

However, there is a change in the air. You see more and more people walking away from Democrats, who were once considered “in the bag” for a vote. They are panicking, which is why you have seen so many media outlets making a big deal out of it and essentially calling the voters who walk away from the Democrats weak and mindless. Barack Obama himself just tried to tie black males not voting for Kamala Harris to misogyny, and not that those black males perhaps did their research and made their own decisions that had nothing to do with her gender.

Now, what is no longer a shock to conservatives is a huge shock for liberals and their media. They are shocked that Black, Brown, and every other color of Americans are no longer consuming the “fear porn” that they have been serving them for years. The younger people in this country are pushing back, and they are doing so because they aren’t attached to “Legacy” media, as the generations prior to them were. They can do their own research, make their own choices, and are unapologetic. Also, didn’t grow up watching 24-hour news networks and having no other source of information. And, didn’t grow up reading the same 3 newspapers. They didn’t grow up in an echo chamber of politics that consisted of only family members who watch all of the same shows and read all of the same papers and regurgitate it over and over at the kitchen table.

No, they grew up with an understanding of technology, an understanding that they could seek their answers in more than one place. They grew up having to question everything, and they are. It isn’t shocking to see that generation grow more and more defiant of the narrative that was jammed down their throat. Young people naturally rebel against authority, and given Democrats have been the authority for the last 12 of 16 years, the “garbage” is rebelling, and their attitude towards that “garbage” maybe be the exact reason the “Garbage Man Cometh” next week.
